Repairs on the two 48” diameter steel pipe ends. Provide stamped engineering package that includes; design details, drawings, calculations, and specifications per the project requirements. Prepare surface of pipe receiving FRP by removal of any compounds or any other substance that may hinder the bond between surface and FRP; grinding and/or abrasive blasting as needed.Installation of QuakeWrap® products on the exterior surface of two pipe ends per design on the exterior surface of the 48” diameter pipe. Cured FRP was coated with QuakeBond™ 401 HCR protective coating.
